Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role involves performing CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and documenting results.

Candidates must have ARRT CT certification, CNMT, NMTC, BLS, and PA/MD/NY licensure, with at least two years of CT experience. This travel position offers 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour shift, with stipends and relocation support through ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or CNMT program.
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of hire or primary registry.
• Minimum of 2 years CT experience.
• ARRT CT certification and NMTC certification required.
• BLS certification and PA/MD/NY state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform CT procedures using established protocols and contrast administration.
• Utilize imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction and documentation.
• Administer contrast media per physician orders and assess patient risk.
• Demonstrate venipuncture and power injector use per protocols.
• Communicate with patients, provide instructions, and ensure patient safety.
• Identify patient using two identifiers and follow universal protocol.
• Document history in EMR and ensure proper coding/charge entry.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to improve efficiency.
