Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Northampton, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT CT certification, and BLS, with 12-hour evening shifts totaling 36 hours per week.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, prepare patients, administer contrast when needed, and ensure imaging quality and proper documentation, including using PACS systems. Travel positions offer weekly pay and benefits through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year CT experience required.
• ARRT (CT) certification and state licensing as applicable.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Position patients for scanning and review requests.
• Capture diagnostic CT images with CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT image quality for diagnostic usability.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety with radiation.
• Familiarity with McKesson PACS system.
