Job summary

Medasource is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Chicago, Illinois. The role involves diagnostic imaging in X-ray and CT with ARRT certification and 2+ years in radiology.

You must be flexible to float between departments and meet shift demands, including on-call coverage and weekends. Ideal candidates bring patient-centered imaging, strong safety practices, and the ability to maintain high-quality images on a 10-hour shift schedule across a 13-week assignment starting

Qualifications

• 2 years recent radiology and CT experience.
• Active ARRT Radiography and CT certification.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Review histories and orders to ensure correct imaging.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope.
• Monitor patients and respond to status changes.
• Position patients and perform X-ray and CT scans.
• Ensure image quality and report results.
• Float between X-ray and CT as needed.
• Follow radiation safety protocols.
