Job summary

Supplemental Health Care, a national healthcare staffing company, is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel contract in Waverly, Tennessee. The role focuses on performing CT imaging, maintaining patient safety, and providing clear explanations of procedures to patients.

The position requires ARRT certification, a radiologic technology degree, state license if applicable, and BLS (ACLS preferred). Travel assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Use CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
