Job summary

Cross Country Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role performs independent CT procedures in a hospital setting, including contrast administration, patient safety, and data documentation.

Requires ARRT certification, BLS, and CNMT or equivalent training, with at least 2 years of radiology experience. The position offers a 12-hour shift pattern with rotate shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program or CNMT track.
• CT registry must be obtained within 18 months of hire or registry.
• 2 years of radiologic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs CT procedures per established protocols.
• Administers contrast media per physician orders and department policy.
• Assesses patient history and risks prior to contrast administration.
• Demonstrates venipuncture technique and uses power injector as required.
• Maintains proper documentation and coding of exams in the system.
• Communicates clearly with patients to alleviate anxiety and explain procedures.
