Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Akron, Ohio. The role involves performing CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality diagnostic services in a hospital setting.

The contract is 13 weeks with the potential to extend, offering 36 hours per week on day shifts. ARRT certification preferred, with a strong emphasis on CT imaging and radiography experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Responsibilities

• Capture diagnostic CT images with CT equipment
• Sterilize radiologic equipment for patient safety
• Explain scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and radiation protection
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
