Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Jackson, MS is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 15-week assignment. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS and ARRT CT certification, and any required state licensing.

Work involves using CT equipment, preparing patients, and delivering high-quality images to physicians. You'll work 12-hour days on a 36-hour weekly schedule, with a travel-friendly environment and tax-free stipends to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support.
• Position patients for scanning.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
