Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina. Join a dedicated imaging team and provide high-quality computed tomography scans, patient comfort, and safety during 12-hour night shifts with 36 hours per week.

This 26-week travel assignment offers competitive weekly pay, start ASAP, and potential extension. Eligible applicants will have ARRT certification in Radiography (CT preferred), an accredited Radiologic Technology

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred; ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience with CT imaging preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient comfort and radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $1,804 - $1,992 per week*
• 26-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
