Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel contract in Dickson, Tennessee. This 13-week assignment offers 36 hours weekly with 12-hour night shifts, starting ASAP.

Requirements include ARRT certification (CT preferred), a radiologic technology degree, and active state licensure where applicable. BLS required; ACLS preferred; 1–2 years CT experience is strongly favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience with CT imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and ensure comfort.
• Adhere to radiation safety practices and establish patient protection.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $1,584 - $1,765 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
