Job summary

CJW Medical Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week onsite contract. You will work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 36 hours per week, covering CT and X-ray with a patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Unit Information

• Patient Volume: Approximately 80 patients/day; 100+ during winter surge

• Patient Ratio: 4–8 patients per nurse

• Equipment:

  • Client Optima CT Scanner

  • Client Portable X-Ray

• Documentation: Meditech, Sectra

• Floating: Not required

Schedule

• Hours: 36 hours

• Weekends: Rotating

• Holidays: Rotating

• Call: No on-call requirement

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to cover both CT and X-Ray

• Comfortable with single-staff coverage for both modalities

• Professional and friendly demeanor

• Strong communication skills

Advanced Skills

• Acute Stroke Ready experience

• Moderate pediatric patient volume experience
