Qualifications

• Must be BLS certified within 30 days of hire.
• CA Fluoroscopy license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in CT, MRI, General Radiology.
• Conduct rotations on weekends.
• Work night shifts as required.

Skills

CT experience in acute care setting

Ability to perform routine X-rays

Competency on GE VCT 64-slice CT scanner

Education

Graduate of JCERT accredited program

Associate's in Health Science or equivalent

This award winning hospital has an immediate need for a CT Tech to help in their dynamic and well run lab service area.

Job Description

The CT/Rad Tech performs procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging and preferably one or more of the following modalities: General Radiology, Angio/Cath Lab and Computed Tomography. Nightshift, Must have CT experience in an acute care setting. This position will do XRAYS, CT scans, and rotating weekends

Education

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• Graduate of a JCERT accredited program Broad-based knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
• Associate's: Health Science or equivalent education/experience
• Other: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• Rad tech is 5-8 hour shifts, shift varied nights and must do rotating weekends

Certification & Licensure

• ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists
• OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist
• OR CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 30 Days of hire
• CA Fluoroscopy licenses

Special Requirements

• Must be capable of and willing to perform routine x-rays, including portables in addition to CT scans.
• Competency on a GE VCT 64-slice CT scanner required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN

• Two years as a Radiologic Technologist performing general diagnostic imaging and one or more of the following modalities: Angio/Cath Lab, Computed Tomography, or Magnetic Resonant Imaging.
• Experience in an acute care hospital.
