Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Jamaica Plain, MA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS, ARRT (CT), and state licensing as applicable. Duties include image acquisition, patient positioning, contrast administration, and safety, with 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The Travel CT Tech will work with McKesson PACS and maintain accurate records, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care on site in Jamaica Plain.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT tech experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with CT registration.
• State licensing as required where applicable.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and move about patient care areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients, review requests, and explain procedures to patients with reassurance.
• Interpret physicians’ instructions and position patients for scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility as needed.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and maintain records.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and use McKesson PACS for imaging data.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and compliance.
