Responsibilities

• Perform neuro, MSK, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric CT imaging procedures.

• Collaborate with radiology team to optimize imaging workflows and patient care.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience in diagnostic and invasive CT imaging, including ED trauma and stroke cases.

Details

• Work in a 2nd floor CT department within a large 800-bed hospital
• Staffing varies by shift, with 5 technologists and a supervisor on days, 4-5 technologists and a rad assistant on evenings, and 2-3 technologists and a rad assistant on nights
• Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors
• EMR used is Cerner Rad Net with Phillips PACS
• 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday
• Possible weekend shifts and rotation to other shifts
• Potential on-call of up to 12 hours per month

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT imaging
• Skills in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic and invasive procedures
• Experience in ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform neuro, MSK, body, invasive, cardiac, and pediatric imaging procedures
• Best suited for a self-motivated team player who can also work independently
• Black scrub attire required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
