American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a position in Apple Valley, California. The assignment is a 13-week travel role with 36 hours per week, consisting of 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights.

The role requires 2+ years in a community hospital, ARRT CT certification, CA CRT, ARRT Advanced, and BLS. You will work in a high-volume acute care CT department using GE/Toshiba scanners with Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a high-volume acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of community hospital experience and ARRT CT certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital with 212 staffed beds
• High volume, fast-paced CT department averaging 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift
• 1:1 patient ratio
• GE and Toshiba CT equipment used
• Epic EMR used
• 3x12 hour Day shifts (6:00 AM-6:30 PM) or 3x12 hour Night shifts (5:45 PM-6:15 AM)
• Must be open to all shift times including day, night, and graveyard rotations, with self-scheduling based on seniority
• High need for graveyard shift coverage
• Weekend requirements may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• No floating between units required
• May be asked to perform own patient transport based on staffing needs

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, and CT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Epic charting experience required

Additional Information

• Must be able to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff; L&D/OR scrubs provided

• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
