Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Elkins, West Virginia. The role includes performing CT and fluoroscopy procedures in adult acute care and outpatient settings, using GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba scanners with a PACS imaging system.

The schedule is four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) with alternating days and weekends, plus on-call and some holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification and BLS required.
• WV license required if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience required.
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs.
• Proficiency with isolation precautions and PPE.
• Age-specific competency from neonate to older adult.
• Travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and fluoroscopy procedures in adult acute care and outpatient settings, including CT, Fluoro, and OR coverage.
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment with PACS imaging system.
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal imaging with and without contrast.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with alternating days and weekends.
• On-call requirements, estimated at no more than 1 day per week.
• Some holiday coverage required.
• Charting completed in Cerner.
