Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Details

• 250-bed academic community hospital radiology department with a daily census of approximately 100-110 patients
• Patient population is mostly adults and geriatric with seldom pediatric cases
• Common diagnoses include PE, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and MVA trauma
• Equipment includes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills for CT tasks
• License required if applicable

• Team player with a positive attitude valued for this role
• Scrubs of any color accepted; no jeans or leggings permitted
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
