Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Lynnwood, WA. The role is a night shift (3x12s) requiring 1+ year CT experience and ARRT CT certification, EPIC EMR experience, and WA license if applicable.

You will work in the ED with 3D rendering, contrast administration, and IV starts, using Siemens and GE systems with PACS. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting.
• ARRT CT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Active WA license if applicable.
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging.
• Experience with 3D rendering including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering.
• Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Level I and II Trauma Center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 3x12 night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Provide CT imaging for ED and inpatient populations.
• Operate Siemens and GE equipment with PACS and EPIC EMR.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
• Float within the hospital as needed based on patient care needs.

• Tech works independently after midnight
• No call requirements
• Uses Siemens Somatom go.Top and GE equipment with PACS imaging system
• EPIC EMR experience required
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if they have 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
• Travel pairs accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, which must be disclosed at time of submission and cannot be modified afterward
• Former staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers
