Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing has a 13‑week Travel CT Tech assignment in Santa Barbara, CA. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to produce diagnostic images. A current radiology license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures and position them for imaging.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
