Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Easley, SC. This 13-week engagement requires 1 year of CT experience, BLS and ARRT CT certification, and state licensing where required.

You will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with travel benefits offered by TotalMed Allied. The ideal candidate will confidently position patients, operate CT equipment, administer contrast when needed, and maintain patient records while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
• BLS, ARRT CT certification and CT registration.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
