Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience, ARRT (CT) certification with registration, and BLS, with any state licensing as required.

The CT Tech will operate CT equipment, ensure high-quality images for physicians, and assist with patient preparation and care during scanning. CT Techs should be prepared to travel and work across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT imaging experience.
• ARRT CT certification with registration when required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients for scan and ensure proper alignment.
• Capture diagnostic CT images with radiology equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents when indicated.
• Evaluate image quality and maintain records.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS.
