Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 12-week travel assignment in Providence, RI. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic-quality images. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive clinical team.
The candidate must have one year of CT experience, a valid Radiology license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred and licensure reimbursement is provided.
Qualifications
- One year of CT Technologist experience required.
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures and position them safely.
- Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
- Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
- Maintain CT equipment and document procedures in the hospital system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely imaging services.
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
