Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice program seeks a CT Technologist to provide flexible scheduling with local or travel assignments and premium compensation. This role offers opportunities across multiple hospital locations and requires ARRT CT and BLS credentials.

The CT Technologist will review orders, prepare patients, perform CT imaging, and coordinate with leadership and radiologists to ensure high-quality exams while following ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• 18 months of CT experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and ARRT CT registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA accepted).
• Willingness to float across hospital locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Responsibilities

• Review the Physician Order and reason for exam, prepare the patient, position, and perform CT imaging.
• Work closely with CT leadership and Radiologist to produce diagnostic images per department protocols.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images with ALARA techniques.
• Collaborate with unit staff and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based care.

What you will Do:

• FirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities:

• The CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam , preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients.

• The CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher required.

• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required .

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) .

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification . (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)

• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.

• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Gross Weekly Rate : $2844
