Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with CHS to offer travel nurse opportunities across a nationwide network of facilities. This community hospital assignment spans 8, 10, or 13 weeks and requires acute care hospital experience, appropriate certifications, and a degree from an accredited school.

You will deliver direct patient care, monitor and communicate patient status, coordinate care across disciplines, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines including transfer, discharge, and referrals.
• Provide patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
