Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an immediate opening in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This travel opportunity offers a competitive pay and benefits package and the security of working with an established agency.

As a CST you will support the surgical team, ensure aseptic practice, and help manage OR supplies across acute care hospitals and outpatient centers in Florida. ANBSTSA certification and BLS are highly regarded for eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent CST experience.
• NBSTSA national certification recommended.
• Valid Surgical Technologist license/registration as required by state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Professional references provided.
• Additional requirements provided by your Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR and position patients for surgery.
• Prep patients for surgery and maintain aseptic technique.
• Sterilize the OR and surgical instruments and manage supplies.
• Support surgeons and participate in case-specific tasks across settings.
