Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital operating room position with extensive total joint replacement and endoscopy experience. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years CST experience, NBSTSA certification, active BLS, a current license if applicable, and precepting experience.

The role includes a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), no weekends or on-call, and potential travel to a nearby campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CST current experience.
• Precepting experience is required.
• Total joint replacement and endoscopy experience required.
• NBSTSA certification required (NCCT not accepted).
• Active BLS certification required.
• Licensing required if applicable.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation due to limited transit.

Responsibilities

• Provide CST support in hospital operating room across surgical specialties.
• Work 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.
• May float to another campus location approximately 21 miles away, including Endoscopy.
• Will be utilized in Endoscopy a few times per week.
• Work in a teaching hospital environment focused on patient safety.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
