Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Certified Surgical First Assistant for a CVOR assignment in Missouri. The role requires NBSTSA CSFA certification, Level I trauma experience, and BLS as a base credential.

You will support cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries in a day-shift CVOR setting. Travelers with strong aseptic technique, case familiarity with CABG, valve procedures, VADs, and vascular/thoracic cases are encouraged to apply. On-call duties apply; housing and per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA CSFA credential required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support CVOR cardiovascular and thoracic cases.
• Day shift: 0600–1630, 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday.
• On-call requirements apply.
• Cases include CABG, valve procedures, vascular and thoracic cases.
• Utilize case cart and crash cart equipment.
• First-time travelers welcome; travel within 70 miles not accepted.
• Respirator fit testing and clean-shaven for mask seal.
• CAPRs and PAPRs not provided; no exemptions.
