Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Travel Agent III for a remote role supporting business customers across the United States. You will be the primary contact, delivering travel details, selling related products, and ensuring policy compliance to optimize value for our clients.

Responsibilities include using BCD systems to confirm reservations, applying supplier rules, and providing accurate travel guidance. A strong corporate travel background and Sabre experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate travel, business travel, or a related customer-focused travel environment.
• Strong understanding of travel industry practices, policies, and booking processes.
• Experience working with GDS Sabre and related travel systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for business customers and provide travel consultation.

• Explain travel policies and guide customers to compliant selections.
• Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers.

Travel Agent III (Remote)

Full time, United States

Schedule: Mon-Fri 11:30am – 8pm ET

The Travel Consultant III is this primary point of contact for the customer and provides active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related product.

As a Travel Agent, you will

• Expertly use the appropriate the BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests.
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer.
• Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer.
• Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers.
• Responds to requests accurately and completely.
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules.
• Maintains, actively communicates and seeks expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported.
• Provides the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties and visa information if required.
• Can fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.).
• Supports BCD Travel and client driven initiatives.

About you
