Job description

Fred Olivieri Construction Company is currently seeking a traveling Construction Superintendent to manage the construction of Retail/Restaurant projects throughout the United States. In addition to a minimum of 10 years experience, the qualified candidate will possess the following:

Job Description

1. Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for ground-up retail / restaurant projects
2. Liaison with developers and client representatives, government officials, architects / engineers, and subcontractors
3. Understand and enforce company safety requirements
4. Develop, update, and maintain project schedule
5. Monitor construction for compliance with plans and specifications
6. Ensure quality standards are exceeded
7. Determine and proactively communicate work force requirements to subcontractors
8. Project reporting from startup through closeout using Procore Construction Management Software
9. Establish and maintain a positive working environment
10. Extended Travel

Required Skills

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills
2. Proven leadership ability with high professional and ethical standards
3. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
4. Superior organizational skills
5. Thorough knowledge of construction industry best practices and building codes
6. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
7. Minimum of 10 years experience

Additional Skills

1. Experience using Procore Construction Management Software
2. OSHA 30 Hour Certification and First Aid and CPR Training
