Job Description

Fred Olivieri Construction Company is currently seeking a traveling Construction Superintendent to manage the construction of Retail/Restaurant projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for ground-up retail and restaurant projects.
2. Coordinate with developers, client representatives, government officials, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
3. Understand and enforce company safety requirements.
4. Develop, update, and maintain project schedules.
5. Monitor construction for compliance with plans and specifications.
6. Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
7. Determine and communicate workforce requirements to subcontractors proactively.
8. Prepare project reports from startup through closeout using Procore Construction Management Software.
9. Establish and maintain a positive working environment.
10. Travel extensively as required.

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Thorough knowledge of construction industry best practices and building codes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.

Additional Skills

• Experience using Procore Construction Management Software.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification, First Aid, and CPR Training.
