Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Executive to lead our portfolio of projects, delivering predictable outcomes for customers and internal teams. You will guide pre-construction efforts, manage client relationships, and drive financial performance with a focus on safety, quality, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug test and comply with our vehicle safety program
• Minimum 15 years' project management experience
• 4-year degree in a construction related major

Responsibilities

• Deliver predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers
• Ensure integrity, safety and quality in all work
• Own financial and general project performance across a portfolio
• Acquire new work and maintain client relationships
• Lead pre-construction efforts for potential and secured work
• Own the success of the customer relationship from cradle to grave
• Oversee project schedules and resource allocation to prevent problems
• Provide senior input on schedules during acquisition and execution
• Ensure clients have a positive experience with our team
• Lead community service events and industry engagement
• Address difficult issues between construction and personnel matters
• Provide leadership oversight during project acquisition and execution
