Job summary

Midwest Health Solutions is seeking a Traveling Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work in Beresford, SD and surrounding areas. You will provide hands-on resident care in various nursing homes, with schedule flexibility and local travel between facilities.

The role supports residents with daily activities, vital signs, meals, transfers, and documentation while adhering to each facility's policies and care plans. Strong independence, reliability and compassion are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified nursing assistant with SD CNA certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in long-term care.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel between facilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in nursing home and long-term care settings.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Take and document vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, transfers, repositioning, and other resident-care needs.
• Follow each facility's policies, procedures, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, facility staff, residents and families.
• Adapt quickly to different facilities, teams and resident needs.
