Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a travel Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week assignment near Norfolk, Nebraska. The role is on the evening shift in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, focusing on high-quality resident care and collaboration with the nursing team.

You will lead shift activities, ensure safety, and maintain accurate documentation while flexible scheduling allows weekend and evening rotations. Prior LTC/SNF experience and Nebraska CNA certification with BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Nebraska CNA certification and be in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience.
• Proven shift-leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to rotate weekends and evenings.
• Infection control or HIPAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality resident care consistent with facility policies and care plans.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to monitor residents' health status and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and resident observations.
• Lead shift activities, ensuring staff adherence to protocols and resident safety.
• Execute resident safety procedures, including fall prevention and emergency response.
• Coordinate shift activities and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Flexibly work rotating weekends and evening shifts.
