Job summary

Good Samaritan seeks a Certified Medication Aide - Local Traveler to support residents across multiple locations within a 75-mile radius. The role includes providing daily living assistance, administering medications as delegated by a nurse, and recording outcomes per care plans.

The MA will collect vital signs, assist with meals, and participate in wellness activities while ensuring safety and dignity for residents. Travel and flexibility are required in this PRN position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Completion of state CMA/TMA certification requirements may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic health care needs.
