Job summary

OrthoArizona, the premier orthopedic care group serving the Greater Phoenix area since 1994, is hiring Medical Assistants for Surprise, AZ. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office.
• 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Modern EMA EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including vitals and history.
• Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms, keep them clean and stocked.
• Assist in procedure room, receive IV training and start IVs.
• Support physicians and nurses during examinations and treatments.
• Assist with administrative tasks: scheduling, records, phone calls.
