Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office preferred.
• 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail essential.
• EMA EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
• Input and maintain EMR documentation.
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in the procedure room, receive IV training and start IVs.
• Support physicians and nurses during patient exams and treatments.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient records management.
