Pay Range

This pay range is provided by FullShift Staffing, LLC. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Please discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Position Overview

As a nursing assistant, you will provide routine nursing care following established policies and procedures, under the supervision of Charge Nurses, RN Supervisors, Directors of Nurses, or Administrators. Your goal is to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Tactful communication skills with personnel, residents, families, and visitors.
• Ability to work harmoniously with team members.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Ability to work effectively with residents of varying maturity levels, including those who are ill, disabled, or emotionally upset.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with facility policies, nursing procedures, and safety rules.
• Conduct resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before providing care or serving food.
• Report missing ID bands immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and within residents' reach.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
