Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a Server at one of our travel centers. You will provide friendly, accurate, and efficient service to guests, welcome every customer, and help promote daily specials while handling POS transactions.

The role requires a team-oriented attitude, basic POS knowledge, and ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid holidays, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive, pleasant and enthusiastic attitude.
• Process transactions on a POS register.
• Promote daily specials and knowledge of menu items.
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining guest needs.
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food.
• Build strong communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
