Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a friendly server to join our restaurant team at our travel centers. You will provide accurate, efficient service and help guests enjoy a positive dining experience on the road.

Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, knowing menu items, promoting daily specials, and maintaining clean, safe service areas. This role offers flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to welcome and serve customers courteously and efficiently
• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred
• Previous food service experience a plus
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a sincere, positive attitude
• Process transactions on a POS register
• Promote daily specials and know menu items
• Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures
• Build rapport with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other duties as assigned
