Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab in Springfield, IL seeks a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 23-week assignment in a facility setting. The role emphasizes supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, patient prep, and safety in a high-demand lab.

You will scrub in, pass catheters and wires, operate imaging equipment, and monitor hemodynamics while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; adhere to infection control.
• Document patient records and equipment logs; maintain supplies.
