MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the Springfield, IL area. Start date: 10/26/2026. Work 40 hours per week on 10-hour day shifts.

This travel position places you with a top healthcare client through MedPro, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency. The role involves assisting the interventional cardiology team during procedures, ensuring patient care, equipment readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians; addresses physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
• Functions under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and obtaining catheters, wires, and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Promotes a safe work environment for staff and patients.
