Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Orlando, FL. The role involves preparing patients, assisting physicians during interventional procedures, and ensuring patient safety with imaging and monitoring equipment.

The position requires one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification. Travel benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state regulations.
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications.
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures with catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Scrub in and support sterile field setup and infection control.
Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
Maintain accurate patient and equipment documentation.
Assist with inventory and supply management.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and dosimetry.
Follow hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties within scope of practice.
