Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. You will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced lab, ensuring patient safety and technical excellence.

Responsibilities include patient prep, assisting physicians, equipment operation, sterile technique, and meticulous documentation, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification; ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification; ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Valid radiologic license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure proper infection control and procedure protocols.
• Maintain documentation for patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies; support inventory and equipment readiness.
