Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and physicians to address physical and psychosocial needs.
• Work under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing supplies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a safe environment.
