Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
• Position and instruct patients prior to examination; adjust the x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph.
• Ensure patient safety and minimize radiation exposure; maintain equipment performance and image quality.
• Collaborate with physicians and the radiology team during procedures; document procedures and results in patient records.
• Adhere to department protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
