Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Dothan, Alabama. The role involves preparing patients and equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

Qualified candidates will have one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents and operate fluoroscopy.
• Maintain imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup adhering to infection control.
