Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel position in Montgomery, Alabama. This role involves preparing cardiac lab procedure rooms, monitoring patients, and assisting physicians during procedures. Qualified candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and hold BLS and ACLS certifications.

The position requires the physical ability to stand and assist for extended periods during 12-hour shifts, working 36 hours per week with potential tax-free stipends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiologist or equivalent.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) – CI preferred; CCI-RCIS certified.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms and ensure stock and sterilization.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
• Operate and ensure quality control of cardiac catheterization lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic and electrical data.
• Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as CPR.
