Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Join a cardiovascular lab team performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations with interventional procedures and fluoroscopy.

Compensation details are based on 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with after-hours call and weekend requirements. The role requires a valid RT license, ARRT, fluoroscopy, BLS, HLFS, and Cerner/EPIC experience as applicable; three years’ Cath Lab preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
• RT license required in state of practice.
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required.
• Cerner and/or EPIC experience noted in employment history if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform contrast-enhanced radiographic imaging of the heart and cardiovascular system during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients using specified protocols and equipment.
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures and exams, including entering technical imaging factors and operating fluoroscope/cinefluorography equipment.
• Operate automatic contrast injection systems during procedures.
• Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills and provide input on hiring and promotion decisions.
