Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Bakersfield, CA. The role requires 3+ years in a Cardiac Cath Lab, RCIS or RCES certification, BLS/ACLS, and active RN licensure where submitted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
• RCIS or RCES certification via CCI required.
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required.
• Active state or compact (NLC) RN licensure required for the state of submission; license required if applicable.
• Acute care hospital experience required.
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process hemodynamic and electrophysiology data during procedures.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness.
• Obtain supplies for individual cases.
• Deliver patient care in accordance with professional and hospital standards of practice.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality throughout the hospital stay.
• Support compliance with performance improvement plans, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.
