Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab seeks a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Berwyn, IL. The role includes assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include passing catheters, operating fluoroscopy, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures. Requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS, ACLS, and one year of Cath Lab experience; radiologic license preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications required.
• Radiologic technologist license preferred per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; ensure infection control compliance.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and storage of sterile instruments.
