Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 23-week assignment in Springfield, IL. You will prepare patients, assist during interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensure patient safety while supporting a dedicated clinical team.

The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications; travel pay includes 40-hour weeks and day shifts, with comprehensive benefits and licensure reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.
• ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification must be held.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitors.
• Operate and maintain imaging, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data and equipment logs accurately.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
